The benefits of production PLC automation system are as follows.

  • • First of all, a touch-screen kiosk industrial computer is installed for each machine at the production section.

  • Similarly, PLC boards separately designed for each machine are installed to the relevant machine; if the machine is able to read through its sensors, then these sensors are used; otherwise, the counting details are received from the machine through a second sensor.

  • Start-stop buttons of the machinery are connected to the PLC system and electrical diagram of each machine is taken.

  • At the time the operator notifies that he started with the relevant work, the adjustment time is automatically recorded by the system in the given algorithm (max. deviation +/- 10 sec).

  • Operator can see the die cut and print form of his work on his PLC operator screen.

  • The systems keeps a production record of approximately 2 minutes (optional) for each order during its run, and records operation-performance curve such as heart graphics for each work.

  • Operator can print out semi-finished product or finished product label from the PLC system.

  • Audio or lighted warning can be made according to the yellow-red-green siren lamps for the targeted time and realized time tracking.

  • When the machine stops for any reason, defined stopping reason buttons appear on the operator screen. When the stopping ends, the machine cannot be operated physically without entering the reason of stopping as the machine can only be started through the PLC software in automatic operation mode. Thus, all the stops are tracked in real time.

  • In shift changes, the system automatically records the production, so there is no need to stop the machinery. (Operation hours, shift hours, meal and tea breaks for each machine must be entered in advance to the PLC system.)

  • It is possible to monitor the operation of all machinery from a mobile phone by using the mobile interface. The interface has a feature for intervening in shift or stopping records.

  • For the predetermined situations, the administrators determined instantly receive an e-mail or SMS. For example, if the machine is not operating for 15 minutes or produces less than the given target etc.

  • Operators can report their own performance.
